Jerusalem Marathon

On Friday, March 16, 2012, Jerusalem held its second ever annual marathon.  In addition to the full marathon, there was a half marathon and a 10k that were also held.  Four students and I ran the half marathon, and Jared Ludlow, his son Josh, and almost two dozen students ran the 10k.

It was a fun event, even if the weather was inclement: it rained, the wind blew, the sun came out once or twice, and it even hailed!

All three races went a short stretch through the Old City, climbing and entering by the Jaffa Gate, running through the Armenian Quarter, and exiting out the Zion Gate.
